About Us

I was born in 1959 in an era where the muscle cars were just about to be born. Growing up with my brother David, we were always working, playing sports and planning on how we would get our first ride. My parents always provided for us, even sacrificing their own needs. For our Christmas of 1969,  Santa provided us with a pair of Red Honda 50’s and nice helmets. The Evil Kinevil days began!

Soon after that I had a nice yellow SL70 and learned how a manual clutch works preparing me for one of the greatest days of my life. At 15 years old, I passed my motorcycle license test and got a very nice Kawasaki K5 100. The first thing I did was drive my Kawasaki to the nearest convenience store, pulled out my pocket change, bought myself a Dr. Pepper and sat on my motorcycle seat experiencing an independence like never before. It was amazing! At 16 I drove my dad's '72 chevy and saved up my coins for a '67 3/4-ton 4x4 4 speed that was a beast. When I graduated high school, I was blessed with a baseball scholarship, so my grandmother gifted me my first brand new truck, a 1977 Chevy Silverado. MaMa was the Best!

I can go on and on about how my love for vehicles grew, but through a blessed business and hard work buying junkie rental properties and fixing them up, my later years have allowed me to get the collector car bug! Mainly a big thanks or a big curse goes to my brother and sister-in-law for having such an awesome collection of cars called “The Posse” which inspired me. JMR Cars was born!

JMR Cars has a staff of qualified technicians that takes the cars I buys, (I have never seen an auction I didn’t like), goes thoroughly through them, and brings them to 100 percent working and repaired each one it was the only car I owned. I do not believe in not fixing a vehicle properly or trying to do a temporary fix. One must repair any car old or new to top quality status. I have filled up buildings over 20000 sq. ft. of cars and trucks. I have a very nice corvette anniversary collection, and a nice Hertz rent-a-racer collection to mention a few. Give me a call someday and let's talk collector cars and meet at the car show soon!

Best of luck,
Mike

The Mission of JMR Cars is to own, collect and sell Classic cars. JMR Cars has a talented staff that takes a classic car and runs through a complete evaluation and check list so that the cars we sell are 100% ready for a new owner. JMR Cars does a full restoration of every vehicle we own but we do not do full restorations for hire. We can and will do repairs and minor upgrades for our customers. If you desire a full restoration, we have partners in the industry that we connect you to.
